Given the forecast, we were concerned this outing wouldn't happen. However, it dawned clear & sunny and it was a lovely morning! It rained hard about 1pm after we'd all left, so we were feeling pretty pleased with our day!In honour of valentines day and a special 30th birthday, we ate lots of cupcakes iced with pink hearts (sorry about the leaking colours, ladies...)
The water was gorgeous! A couple of us went swimming and it was great! Tide was in so it was nice and deep. The kiddies all loved playing in the sand and visiting the fountain. And the playground at Mission Bay is really cool! It even has a sand & water play section. What a fab morning this was! Check out the album here.
