Welcome!

We are a group Mums with children of all ages who get together to share a cuppa and this journey we're on: Motherhood!  We welcome you to our blog, and also to our Tues mornings if you feel you are interested.

Feedback from mums shapes a lot of what we do, so please share your ideas with us (contact details are listed below, or you can print this form and drop it in the box when you're next with us).

So, what is WonderMums?
•    We’re a group catering for mums interested in developing friendships and supporting each other through the ups and downs of being a mum.
•    We have a lot of fun, with a range of outings and regular evening events.
•    We value learning together and sharing experiences relevant to being a mum.
•    We give back some of what we’ve been blessed with where we can (e.g. our Sponsor Child Lokesh through Tear Fund)
•    WonderMums is under the umbrella of Manurewa Baptist Church.  The WonderMums team share a growing faith in God that we’d be happy to talk about with you at any time.

Housekeeping:

Venue: We meet in the Kitchen Hall at Manurewa Baptist Church on a Tuesday morning from 10-11.30am.

Coffee & Cake Weeks:  We aim to have a ‘coffee and cake’ week every second week.  This usually doesn’t include a planned activity.  It’s simply a chance to hang out and enjoy a drink and bite to eat with other mums while our children play with the variety of toys available.  If you can, please bring a small plate of food to share.  (On the activity weeks, the team supply morning tea unless otherwise stated - but we always welcome baking!)

Outings: Every other week we have activities, which include some outings, so make sure you check the calendar for where we’re meeting each week.  If the outing is weather dependant, please call the church office (number on the calendar) for venue change.


Health Policy:  We do have a health policy.  Given this stage of life we are at, we wish to offer as much protection to our Pregnant Mums and newborn babies as possible.  Please familiarise yourself with our Policy, you can read it here.

Cost:  There is no weekly cost to WonderMums.  However, if you wish to make a donation, we would welcome this.  Occasionally we will ask for a small donation (a few dollars) if the activity planned incurs a cost (such as crafts or an evening event).  The details will be on the calendar.

WonderMums team:  WonderMums is organised by Monique, Julia, Jo W and Jo P.  We’d love to hear your feedback, ideas for activities or just have a chat.

We feel totally blessed to be involved in WonderMums and hope that it will become a special part of your week too, as it is in ours!
